AI Standardization - State of Play and link to regulatory framework
.
2 minutes
Scope
This document objective is twofold: to provide a survey of the relevant standardization initiatives and specifications dealing with AI, and link them to the expected requirements of the future EU regulatory framework on AI.
Horizontal versus vertical (application-specific) specifications
Likely, as in many other software related domains, there will be two levels of standardization activities dealing with general (high-level) and sectoral (specific) specifications. This survey aims at covering both levels.
Therefore, the document will report some specifications to be intended at the general level and others specific for one or more application domains.
