Artificial Intelligence

The German Institute for Standardization e.V. (DIN), the German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies of DIN and VDE (DKE) and the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) recently published the AI standardization roadmap, which recommends standards for artificial intelligence.

The AI standardization roadmap will be updated regularly, taking into account evolving requirements. The document is available free of charge (German only) at :

Scope

This document objective is twofold: to provide a survey of the relevant standardization initiatives and specifications dealing with AI, and link them to the expected requirements of the future EU regulatory framework on AI.
